Grandpa Shitsinpants had his protective detail rotated out when he took office because he was worried about their loyalty. If Trump got to keep the people who protected him during his presidency it's not out of the realm of possibility that they put the DOJ's goon squad in holes. BTW this wasn't the first time that a confrontation between the SS and FBI was in the cards. It was a possibility during the "hospital showdown" over an NSA spying program.
