The first game is heavy on the platforming and it controls far too cumbersome for it a lot of the time. Everything from your jump to even your sword swing has more weight to it then most games and its the reason why some people love only that one and some people only play it begrudgingly to get to 2 (the one everyone else usually considers the best).
