After Twitter migrated to the retarded x domain name (if you had an account, you were forcibly moved in the past week), it is now once again possible to archive tweets with Archive.today - archive.org still fails, unfortunately.
Obviously, you have to select the x domain name though.
Reminder that archive.org is owned by Taylor Lorenz’s uncle.
It's a club, and you ain't in it.
I've been able to archive them for a while now. The problem is it's only a single post and I often want it and the comments that go with it.
I've found that Ghost Archive is better for preserving long Twitter threads post-Musk.
I will test that out. I've been using Thread Reader and random nitters.
Was there an announcement made or something to explain why the site had changed to not be archived?
Might have been a technical issue. I use an old browser on one of my PCs and embedded tweets on this site haven't worked for months, but they suddenly started working again today.
Oh hell no, I'm not even sure they were aware of it.
Which is a bloody shame, because as someone who is critical of the lying media, Elon should love the archiving stuff.
