I can block posts just fine, but the block button on comments is meaningless. If the mods want to let a mentally ill Indian rampage through the sub, OK, but I need the ability to filter him.
It's a little weird that people like trump4045 and RaceCreatesCulture caught bans for being too edgy but some troll is allowed to fantasize about child rape? Is that not the violent ideation that's a bannable offense here?
I mean, if he wants to make a stupid argument about lowering the age of consent, that's one thing. But dude is just choking his chicken.
I miss those guys and Imp, by comparison they were freaking philosophers compared to our current retarded posters, can't even call them trolls as that's still higher level of intelligence.
I'm just glad to see by comments and engagements, people aren't taking the bait.
Imp was nice in that he was genuinely schizo-posting. The sincerity came through, you could feel he really cared... Even if he was a broken clock only right twice a day. Probably better for his mental health to not be online, but at the same time, he could be fun or even downright well-researched on his more stable days.
These trolls, unpaid shills, and astroturf five-cent army posters are just... low-tier.
I still remember the thread he posted about Elon's new CEO of X. I was utterly amazed by how much research he had done, and how many sources he provided. Very well-detailed and factual. I could not find a single fault with anything he said.
He very often came across as suffering too much from tunnel vision, but that focus often led to him making extremely informative posts.
I agree that spending less time online can only be good for his mental state, though.
I often said Imp wasn't neccessarily wrong, but he went about what he was doing in a much-too-caustic way.
I mostly liked talking to him, to be totally honest. I have the problem of considering other view points a bit too much sometimes, and he has the exact opposite problem.
He usually had all the pieces, he just assembled them in a bat shit manner that would end up completely divorced from reality but played exactly to the theory he already held.
Which meant that, much like a feminist or tranny arguing against reality itself, he had to be an defensive and accusatory person to protect his ego and narrative from the fact that everyone was constantly picking it apart.
Still, he was much more fun to engage with because he was unflappable and rarely would actually resort to anger or attacks in discussion, unlike many here (myself included).
