I'm still confused about Leftists lauding therapy as such a great and wonderful thing, but then using "go to therapy, seek help" etc as an insult to suggest that only broken people need to go to therapy. I guess it's just another rancid hypocrisy to add to the list.
It's cope and projection. They are coping because they go to therapy, and they are projecting because they are deeply broken people.
They also go all about sexuality acceptance, and even use "Aro/Ace" as some kind of deflection shield from criticism, but at the same time hold the view that celibacy is somehow evil.
Because remember, it's not about good and evil, it's about them, and people who aren't them. Anything they do is "good", and anything people who aren't them do is "evil".
In their minds all their opponents are evil because they are broken inside. Secretly gay, mommy issues, virgin, insecure about penis size, etc. This is the cause of all bigotry and evil in the world. You can see it in all their insults.
Thereby, if you just went to therapy (which is a magical fix, just like their magical pills) then you'd stop being evil and join them on the "right side."
So its honestly not a hypocrisy for once, its totally logical. You just need to live in their delusional version of reality.
They have no friends or family that tolerate them, so they have to pay someone to winge their first-world problems to.
Jung and Freud are gnostic mystics, in the same way that Marxism is a religion dressed up in economic and political science, psychology has always been a religion dressed up in the science of brain chemistry and health.
Of course they laud it, it has become one of their sacraments.
The dark inversion of confession specifically.
Which is where the insult comes from. In the same way that people might use 'You need to go to confession'
I can think confession is a great and amazing blessing, while also admonishing you and suggesting you need to go do something about something you just did or said in a somewhat snide way, there's no real contradiction there but for me being a bit flippant about something so sacred.
They have many hypocrisies and contradictions, this doesn't seem like one of the stronger ones to me.
