I've thought before how I don't even know what I'd be without all the positive male role models I had. I was a weird quiet kid with my head in a book, computers, or building things. Men from my dad to grandfathers, my dad's employers, friends of my grandfathers, hell even weird ones like my brother's soccer coach-- they all just treated me like a person, essentially like a "future man." I could do on and on and on about positive things men did from a young age Women, well I can barely think of any that stuck in my head as positive. Especially away from very immediate family. They just all want to find out what's wrong with you or treat you like a baby.
