After my last post, several side-by-side comparisons between what was localized and what truer translations actually say were posted on Twitter.
The localizers completely changed some lines and the characterization of several playable characters.
Also, Elron, the person who originally pointed out the issues on Steam, has been banned from the Eiyuden forums.
Edit: Forum posts are being locked left and right as the complaints are coming in.
