Asians are too successful generally for empathetic hit pieces. I’ve heard from many blacks that they don’t like Asians because they “act too white”

I mean, it's not as if they pity less successful people, they're just more ripe for to be used. If you earn your success, then you are not beholden to anyone. If you do not, then can insert themselves and 'get you' favors in exchange for your political loyalty.
