G. Edward Griffin is an American patriot and we'd all be better off if people had listened to him. He's still kicking and writing books at 92, most recently The Creature from Jekyll Island.
Wikipedia sez:
George Edward Griffin is an American author, filmmaker, and conspiracy theorist. Griffin's writings promote a number of right-wing views and conspiracy theories regarding political, defense and health care.
🙏
Anyway yeah I bought Manning's book after hearing this. It's a very short and straightforward account, but an important example all budding Anticoms should know about and pass on.

Holy shit, I completely missed that that was him. Even more based than I realized. I've known communists who cite the Creature from Jekyll Island, too. It's just calling out the corruption. This just makes everything he says even more based.
Also, glad to hear he's still alive and kicking. Can we elect him as president? He's surely more alert and competent than Commandant Biden.
I found this while looking up old school ex-communist blacks who realized they were betrayed.
Absolutely fascinating stuff, in my opinion. Tons of ridiculously quotable and topic al stuff in here, too. And it's amazing how so many issues back then are still around today.
Manning Johnson is the "negro" - the term at the time - being discussed here, and the original one I was thinking about, but also check out Richard Wright and Leonard Patterson, other names that came up in my search. Look up any of their stuff. I can't speak for all of it, but it seems excellent and absolutely scathing, from what I've seen.
Another excellent quote from this event: "Most of today's self-styled revolutionaries...come from good homes, could earn better than average incomes...are products of some of the finest institutions of finer learnings."
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
"It's literally a question of life and death for all of us, and it's about time the American people began to face up to that fact, and to act accordingly!"
I'm so mixed on all this. On the one hand, it's somewhat hopeful and "validating" that they knew this shit back then, on the other hand it's an extreme black pill that we're still fighting the exact same fucking battles.
I honestly can't say which one wins out. But, either way, it's certainly fascinating, and makes you think about things. I will say it's extremely depressing that, even back in the heyday of open communism, refuges from communism came here and were like 'nah, this is just the same." Ooooooooof.
His advice made a lot more sense back in its period of time. The communists run the country now. We require different tactics and strategies now.
that's what i feel too
