I remember a waitress in Portland who acted really over the top black. When I asked her why? Especially since the actual black population of the area didn't act that way, she said it almost felt required. That's a weird thing when you're a super small minority, you compensate by acting the most stereotypical you can.
Also, was this Tacompton?
Interesting phenomenon. I’ve personally seen black people in predominantly white spaces who go over the top ghetto black, and I think it comes down to a deep feeling of shame at having somehow betrayed their own culture. They feel like they are “acting white” by peacefully and successfully participating in the “white space”, and so they overcompensate with the most obnoxious behavior as defiance.
Places like Portland are all about fitting into stereotypes. You can't be anything else except what you have been stereotyped as. My sister was told she had to be trans for liking cars.
But of course. If there's one thing SJWs are great at it's hypocritically enforcing the very stereotypes that are claimed to be harmful. So cars have to be a masculine thing and the supposed gender spectrum ceases to exist under such conditions. Everyone is free to be free and be the person they want to, as long as they behave and follow the ever changing set of rules that are often made up and changed on the fly.
Or else.
The irony is blacks are acting like the white Southern trash that's supposedly keeping them down.
I know you mean well, but please avoid repeating modern tropes spun out of two percent fact.
While niggers did copy and bastardize the southern vernacular, White Trash southerners have very little in common with blacks.
/White Trash still have a sense of honor and duty
Africans hate American blacks and their "culture."
Wait, was the waitress herself black, or are we talking a “wigga” situation here..?
She was black.
I think we've had this conversation. You live in a town just south of Bremerton. I say, and others agree, that the experience you want from Seattle can be found at the Bremerton ferry area for far cheaper. The geek arcades convince me this is true. Look up Tick Tock arcade if you want a higher end experience.
