Well that's that then, the reform party is nowhere near as based as it could be, looks like they're a bunch of hand wringers like all the rest. If they can't even muster the courage to tell Hope not hate to fuck off when they cry about something this country is done.
I always laugh at these kinds of things. Because I truly do believe it has to be a really hopeful naivety to believe the system can be reformed. At every step it's been actively against the public, and there are people that think this knowing hostility can and more importantly should be saved?
And I know it seems like this is just doomposting and to a certain level it is. But it's also not. It's about coming to terms that the state is something that cannot be reformed and moving forward from that. Anyone that still clings to that at this point is either wilfully naive (and I don't entirely blame them) or subject to a sunk cost mentality and doesn't want to comprehend the idea of giving up on something that has ultimately already failed its purpose.
It is naïveté, I will freely admit I was somewhat hopeful about reform, it wasn't even that long ago that I pointed out they would be considered the far right by the left like the AFD. I think that's exactly why hope not hate is trying to destroy them.
However the leadership are utter scumbags, I think they need to be ousted by the activists that care before they wreck any chance of there being opposition and I'm of the same mind as the guy that got cancelled. I'm not necessarily looking forward to any sort of Nigel Farage comeback because everybody is inevitably going to latch onto his superstar status and he'll do fuck all like he did before in terms of actual leadership.
Throwing my hands up now at the whole thing, it's done as far as I'm concerned, but at least I know what I'm probably going to be doing in the next few years now. The whole of the government is on set to make this country as bad if not worse than Canada. Some very interesting points made in the video about how they're trying to bring in a bunch of Conservatives into the party and they're all the same backstabbers so this is how the Conservative party will likely survive.
If anyone thinks bending the knee to Hope Not Hate will get them to leave them alone, despite the Conservatives recently launching a new extremism definition which you would think would sound heavenly in their ears, the Conservatives were still defined as part of the "radical right" in their recently released report.
Appeasement does not work. You are forever branded and there is no redemption in their eyes.
You may have noticed all the political parties have pretty much become one Uniparty with just different coloured rosettes and ribbons. Reform have joined them. Despite Tice rallying against the establishment, he has become one of the establishment. I guess it may be down to the recent redefinition of extremism and not wanting to face consequences for stepping out of line with the Government. Even Labour have pretty much become the Red Tories now. The SNP has more to lose than anyone else because their advocacy of Scottish independence looks to breach that new definition and they've suddenly gone quiet about independence recently.
we're true conservatives. when communists come knocking, we immediately bend over for them.
(the correct response is their death, but telling them to fuck off is acceptable)
I watched the segment but I lacked context without knowledge of Bong politics.
What's the ELI5 on the Reform Party?
Reform party used to be called the Brexit party and it was initially setup by Nigel Farage during the EU referendum they've got some genuine activists amongst them and their own policy states stuff like net zero migration. However it seems the leadership is filled with hand wringers who are bending over for leftist pressure groups. They've also had an MP who recently got caught colluding with a leftist pressure group.
Worse, they're now in talks allegedly to bring in Conservative MPs who are anything but based on the issue of migration and are a bunch of hand wringers themselves so it's almost certainly going to be more of the same. Andrew Tice the leader of reform has been found to be cucked to the WEF and openly shills for Ukraine.
They could have been genuine opposition but it does look like they're a controlled op by the WEF to prevent people from fighting back against them in the polls. I didn't really trust Nigel Farage from the beginning but now I'm completely done with that party.
Thanks.
So is Reform the rebranded UKIP party that Sargon ran for?
Sort of, it's a separate entity Nigel Farage created after he messed up UKIP on the back end but I think it is fair to say that's the general idea. It's looking like if there's a purge of MPs going on at the behest of leftist pressure groups they're trying to brand themselves more mainstream to be palatable to ironically left wing voters. Except of course anyone who knows anything about politics knows that never works. As far as I'm concerned reform shouldn't exist like the Conservative party now, it is looking like they're a blatant controlled opposition.
I've said for a while that until proven otherwise Reform are just socialists with a different coloured tie. Just like the rest of them.
This just proves they are even weaker than the Torys, susposedly from what Beau said today on the lotus eaters podcast they are now scrutinising their candidates with the help of hope not hate.
I hope as well this at least goes to some way explaining why I have zero expectations of the UK going forward and am making serious plans to simply pack up and leave. I fully expect a clampdown on anybody telling the truth about the UK once the elections are done.
