Iirc, Aaron MADE reddit. spez coattailed him the entire time. There was a wonderful (but very sad) documentary about Aaron’s life. He was fanatically pro 1A and saw reddit as a true free-to-speak platform. But as other people said, they pinned shit on him for being an activist for genuinely GOOD things, and he killed himself over it.
Then spez probably unhinged his jaw and ate his body, idk. But reddit in its current state is quite obviously not what Aaron wanted - quite the opposite, and he was fighting over ensuring it wouldn’t turn into what it is now.
