As others said, be careful about the women looking to get married, get a green card, and then skedaddle. Happened to a bloke I knew a couple of decades ago who was middle-aged, went to a foreign country because he was twice-divorced and thought someone from a developing country would be "easier" to deal with. Instead, she got her card and ditched him shortly thereafter.
Immigration is a hassle but you are right. Maybe I should look. I speak Spanish so maybe if I could do remote in a Spanish speaking country

Ya women are women the whole world round. The biggest indicators of behavior are having a good family/father and not being entitled.
