Michael Knowles was arguing about the troons and he said something about troons only working if we remove special privileges and spaces for women and he's not prepared to do that. It's annoying that every argument is centralized around protecting women. I don't understand this attitude even in conservative circles. Men have abandoned the idea that they can have spaces, ideas, privileges only designated to themselves.

It's because of the chivalrous ideal of the perfect gentlemen defending women. As it so happens, that is a legitimate concept. The problem is not that men are exhorted to protect women, it's that women won't shut up and let the man protect them instead of acting like backseat drivers.

This is the great error of mainstream conservatism, they see men are abandoning their chivalrous role and decide the problem is men instead of focusing on the women that completely abdicated and even attempt to subvert their end of the bargain.

Conservatives pander to women because women are far more likely to vote for big government then men and conservatives want that just as much as progressives, and likely for similar ends, too.

Just sell Men Spaces as a way to protect women from "inherent toxic masculinity".
