Does it actually improve from there? I dropped out (manga reader) when after Spirit Turtle it implied he was going to another another world and realized I hadn't enjoyed it since Bitch's trial.
No, I dropped the novel around the same point. Doubt the anime will diverge from the source in order to make it better.
