The irony of the Axis is that 2/3 of the big names there (Japan and Italy) probably would have been on the Allied side, except that the Allies were a massive pile of idiots, and couldn't stop pissing people off for two decades. There is an alternate timeline where FDR loses in 1932, and Tesla doesn't get hit by a taxi in 1937, and WWII in that timeline is utterly fucking lit.
