Not quite. PCA charts put Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews genetically between Europeans and Middle Eastern populations like Palestinians and Jordanians. In other words, they're a highly mixed group they have been endogamous for many centuries.

Culturally, they long dissociated themselves from larger European (i.e. white) society and ethnic groups. Cases in point

"Jews as whites" is rather recent phenomenon that is used very selectively by somes Jews when it suits them.

But you are correct that they are promoting their own demise in the long run via their collective decisions.
