it's a really good chill show. whether or not it's the best show is a matter of taste, but it has a clear goal of being chill and relaxing while simultaneously being adventurous, and executes on that phenomenally.
I didn't like the first episodes of the ''immature yet stoic characters might as well be emotionless animated dolls'', but it gets alot better and I'd recommend it as ''good''.
Probably the best anime right now, and that is saying something. I've talked to a friend about it: feels like we are in an anime golden age right now. A lot of the niche manga get adaptions, a lot of the bangers get them also and they're even better than the manga(see frieren making a one panel into a whole scene) and we keep getting them season after season. I've seen more anime now than I have years ago when I started.
I feel like I'm getting spoiled rotten by anime this year and it's perfect, bunch of new seasons for anime I've already watched happening in the spring as well. Friday has sort of turned into anime night for me but sometimes when I'm working lots it's nice to gather up all the episodes and binge watch.
Man, I'm really going to have to find some way to watch Frieren some time, aren't I...

I recently saw Gunbuster for the very first time.
You want a strong female character done right? There you go.
All the character development you need in six episodes.
That final scene, man...
It's quite good. Definitely deserves the hype it gets.
I've at least been following a good chunk of the talk ever since "Minecraft yourself, Aura," and seeing some clips every now and then.
It's brilliant
Frieren is one of the very rare cases where Reddit losers loving a show isn't a bad thing, because it's genuinely that good.
