Have you noticed how it's a total mismatch of genres? That's how you know they're attention seeking fakers, Jeremy from TheQuartering pointed this out awhile back when it came to gamerthots and I have to agree lol they always do the Pokemon + Star Wars combination.
When its literally the most mainstream of mainstream its not really that out of place. Like almost anyone over the age of 15 has played a Pokemon game and seen a Star Wars something, because they aren't niche nerd products anymore.
The idea of "those two things don't mesh" is sound and you can see it when you reach actual nerd territory, but QuarterPounder and other guys are still living in the past where "is video game" was nerdy on its own instead of generic product.

I mean, yes, but also no? I like Zelda, I like (classic) Ghostbusters, I like (classic) Star Wars, I've enjoyed Pokemon from time to time.
