It also goes on how the only reason the blackmail works is because being gay was so stigmatized back then, and with the rap stuff, being gay is so stigmatized in the black community, that it’s a circle of projection that continually amplifies itself because the more they do gay stuff, the more specific artists openly act anti-gay to try and avoid suspicion.
That’s part of why while I understand why a lot of people on the site want homosexuality to be shunned again, all that does is make it easier for our elites to be horrible people because it’s easier to blackmail.
What gets me as well is that stuff like this always gets me to question the official polling of the rate of LGBT people, because while I can definitely believe it’s more like 5%, how many closeted people are there? How many people also don’t even know those polls exist? At max I think that entire spectrum is 10% of the population though.

So either you're willing to go the whole hog and try to destigmatize that too to avoid the blackmail, or we can go hurt a few gay guys' feelings to at least save some kids

This is not to defend Kanye West, he's a despicable loon, but it is to point out that he was just telling people the truth about the music industry.
