"Life experience" is womanspeak for mental baggage. At least a 20-something has other things to talk about other than her past boyfriends and how all her friends are married with kids.
What they call "too experienced to put up with his crap" is really her just making him pay for the sins of other men. Chad strung her along for sex without committing to her, so Billy Beta doesn't get any until 6 months and several thousand dollars in. Tyrone used to deepthroat her with a dirty dick so no blowjobs for Billy. Julio made her do all the housework while he dealt drugs out of their shared residence, so Billy has to do all the housework in addition to making all the money. The real question is what's in it for Billy or anyone else dumb enough to get involved with her.
Basically. A 23 year old is vibrant and is less likely to have been run through or a single mom already. A single 33 year old is a jaded mess that is bitter because none of her poor decisions ended up in any form of commitment.
$20 says the bitch who thinks a 20-something year old doesn't have enough life experience to make informed decisions also thinks a 13 year old is old enough to decide to get their genitals cut off.
My parents are 12 years apart, almost exactly the age-range in the post, except for one difference; my mom is the older one. When I was born, my dad was 26 and my mom was 38. Then my sister was born 3 years later, at 29 and 41. I definitely have a bit of the 'tism, and my sister is an indoctrinated Leftist, so it's hard to tell what's actually wrong with her outside of that and being a woman.
Would the OP have the same gross-out response to my parent's relationship? My dad was the sole breadwinner for their entire 20 year marriage, and he pulled his weight without a doubt. Where's the concern for his "life experience"? It only ever goes one way with them, and only after they get moved from the express line to the last-resort line. I hate how predictable they all are.
These posts are an addiction of mine. I love when accountability is forced upon post-wall women.

And she probably banged her first dude at 13. But she’s still “just a kid.”
