Rotary Engine!?!? I guess Wankel was a fraud. This list is also missing “The Human Race” and “Gravity”

Apparently on the rotary engine it most likely didn’t work in reality, but was still granted a patent. Certainly not as successful of an invention as the paper wants to mislead. It was not actually commercially viable and the Wankel engine is predominantly what anyone will think of when “rotary engine” is used - despite it having several challenges as well.
