That artist might be a woke tard but there is a practical reason. Japan relies fucking 95% of its oil on middle east. Any conflict in middle east is bad news for them, and they simply can't side with Israel because Israel isn't the oil provider.

This is also why the US allowed them to work out an Oil deal with Russia after Russia invaded Ukraine.
