The DOJ is recommending only 6 months in jail for Ray Epps, the guy who is on tape telling people to enter the Capitol 🤔

I don't quite understand how justice works in this country, especially when it comes to iNsUrReCtIoNs. We've got dudes serving ten, fifteen, twenty years behind bars for their roles in January 6th, and Ray Epps is gonna get six months?

It matches the "crime". The police who ushered people into the building aren't going to serve any time. Why would the guy who was screaming at people to do it serve more than 6 months for noise pollution?

Because other people are doing years for similar "crimes."

It's not right for them either, but Epps is the only one getting kid gloves and NYT/WaPo defense.
