I don't think you should take what anyone else says but it does behoove you to know what God said/says about things, I suggest espescially about love, which is the most difficult and yet most important. Edit: God's love and expectation of our love in light of that, for clarity
Then I don't think you should try to call yourself Christian, the Christian God is the God of all creation, not just white skin.
