We don't have to take the Associated Press's word for it.

Thanks to public disclosure laws we can see who gets the contract in the end and then we can see who has investments tied to the company.

If the company that gets the contract is Vornado Realty Trust in the end and then we can see just how much money Trump gets for the transaction.

You yourself can go verify this after they choose who gets the contract to construct the new building.

The motivation behind Trump's statement yesterday about the glowies getting a new building atleast makes sense now.
