Several thoughts.
One. Too much bass. Dear Lord that is obnoxious.
Two. This looks like it's trying to actually be what Death Stranding marketed itself as.
Three. I'm done with base building. It's just so samey now, and to me it has become a tedium mechanic.
I'm okay with base building, but I am beyond sick of food-farming survival mechanics being stuffed into every bloody game. There's almost minimal variety to that gameplay loop and it always ends up being a drawn out chore, and it really doesn't fit into a lot of different game types.
I do hold some exceptions to this stance though, when it just happens to flow into a game fluidly without being a nuisance.
As far as eating and drinking I like how Outward does it.
But I'm done fighting with clunky snap ins anymore.
Watched the whole video. First impression was good. Nice visuals, interesting setting, pleasant female character model. PvPvE setting with base building, like Rust crossed with the Division.
Has potential at least.
Mixed with some Stranger Things vibes. It's an interesting concept, but the trailer slid right into the goofy stuff a little too fast and hard, felt a bit bizarre.
I noticed that it seems the game will actually have first person view as an option. That's at least one solid plus in my book. The overall gameplay model might end up being a little too open-ended though, it's not exactly clear based on the trailer.
And aye, I also noted the nice character and art design.
The only thing this has going for it is that it actually has attractive female models. Other than that it looks like generic gunplay and the open world base building thing that's been trendy for the last few years but holds zero appeal for me.
I've got this pegged as a game with nice graphics but little of actual substance to offer. It will wither and die in short order. Also I can already see the shadow microtransactions for gun skins. I don't know how but they managed to telegraph that already.
Also: dear god what that intro and outro pretentious as fuck.
"Enjoy the cataclysmic world of Once Human where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs."
I don't play games cuz I'm terrible at it but I may have to watch this one played. Curious about story line
Hmm, The Combat make it look too bullet sponge to be any fun if you ask me (could be overcome with better animations and perhaps damage states) and having without any destruction of those bases seems like a missed opportunity.
I think I will stick to remnant 1 and 2 for now
Isn't this a super old game? Or an I mixing this up with something that had "X Human" as a title?
You're thinking of 'Too Human' from way back in 2008.
Pretty sure it's new, based on the timestamps from search results.
This one is new.
