They had never eaten so much food in their lives and kept talking about fat Americans. I explained that it was also the reason why I am so much taller.
Well, yes. Ironically enough, most Asian varieties of livestock are smaller than their Western counterparts. Except for the Chinese and pigs. Those people raise some freaking massive pigs (Meishans)
I loved watching Christmas episodes on Japanese TV shows. Santa accidently released Golem into the city? We need a giant robot to battle it. Also, Santa is a hot chick.
Its an interesting problem. Christmas is a foreign but beloved Holliday in Japan. In fact Christianity is viewed as weird.
So it really was an American decision.
