It’s ruined entertainment because like you pointed out it is so easy to predict. This is why I tend to watch stuff from 2014 and prior. I know that’s an arbitrary year but that’s when I started noticing the craziness. My brother was pointing out how he notices every scientist/female is a female and of course we have the black/hispanic female who is a genius engineer. I’m pretty sure that all stems from the constant women in STEM push.
One thing I love about the free streaming services like Tubi and Pluto is that they have a massive amount of older tv show as well as older BBC shows before they went all “down with whitey”. I do suggest you support Great American Family. Basically Hallmark geared towards Christians. Nice to have a channel that doesn’t crap on your beliefs and values
You know how many times I’d get chewed out in different forums for saying “create original characters and stop with all the race and gender swapping”. All they have accomplished is that people see a black, female, or other diverse lead and they pass on it. My brother and I were talking about how our first assumption is that it’s going to be the one millionth lecture about race, sex, etc.
