The funny part always being that they only care about the Imperium when they do this. They only want to see themselves represented in the brutal ultra fascist regime.

And GW is uncompromised only in the manner that their foundational material is so grounded in the grimdark bullshit that they can't quite woke out without redoing basically the entirety of it, and Age of Shitmar has them terrified of doing that again. Its not that they don't want to, its that they have so much builtup unwoke world that you can just never run into that garbage while consuming the world its in. Because its not like the woke are gonna play the autism simulator that is the tabletop.

Its still an issue, but its less of a directly confronting one than say DnD was.
