While there surely were a lot of Karens back then too. At least I can some what relate what christians feared. People without a moral codex or purpose in life and apparently a lot of people have found the new woke religion as a substitute where you dont need to have morals, accountability or be true to your word. You or your team will just bully/cancel everyone who isnt fully on board with that religion, and just virtue signal to get power.
