It wasn't a war. It was a social response against jews who were up to no good in Germany. The sand people, thinking Hitler would win, laid down the groundwork for their own expulsions, but instead it further cemented the jewish ideals of 'destroying everyone else'.

In short, had the sand people stopped whining and left Israel be after 1945, the israeli people would have just said no thanks and left. Instead, their idiotic actions threatening jews in their own lands with punishment should the state of israel be created unified jews across a myriad of ideological opinions to 'okay we're gonna fuck up the sand people'.

And you know how paranoia and mental illness progresses. Here we are today, with the state of israel willing to put their own people in harms' way to get back at sand people.
