I know Hamas has gunned down families, raped women, dragged off hostages, and tried to behead a dude with a garden hoe.

That's what makes the claims of beheaded babies and babies in ovens so confusing. The Israeli government and the J-sphere don't need to embellish the atrocities, yet they do.
