Muslims are conservative AND illiberal (by the english definition of the word).

Conservatives in the west are still liberal. To claim that Muslims aren't conservative is non sense. Muslims consider women second class citizens, homosexuality punishable by death, usury punishable by death while most Christians are just paying lip service to Christianity.

Obviously, while all conservatives have common interests, it doesn't make them allies, since Muslims reject western liberalism.
