They've already pulled a 180 on the "Yoruichi BLACK recasting." It's not going to fix every problem they're going to have because of their obsession with being progressive, but holy shit, how did they not see the shitstorm coming from this?

For real, even in Bleach there are clear phenotypes for people that are black (Don Kanoji, Kaname Tosen, Zommari Rureaux) and Yoruichi isn't one of them.

Mass Effect had Ashley Williams voiced by a black woman. Same black woman also voiced several non black characters in Dragon Age.

Somewhat related due to the Bioware/Dragon Age connection, this is also the issue I have with Merril from DA2 because she's voiced by Gwen from Torchwood.
The most annoying character of the over 50 playable in reverie. I don't even think she is lez though because canonically there is a romance aspect with George(the fat engineer)

They're close classmates, but no way are they hinted romantic.
That said, I definitely held off on using her in Reverie Corridor. It was all about wide range, delay, and powerful casters. And she was none of those.
