It didn't bother me. The show or marketing didn't force me to 'know brave and stunning omg so brave so represent' they just had a mentally ill chick playing the little bitch character Koby. Pretty much all he does in the early manga is cry and overreact.
I totally expect the second season to follow Netflix rules and go full unwatchable.
That Netflix can put out a decent first season isn't in question. (They sometimes don't, but they can.) The test is always in the subsequent seasons, when pushing 'the message' becomes more important than the story...
I want to like Stranger Things but "the message" was so strong in the third season it really turned me off. It sucks, because that is probably the best show Netflix has ever put out.

They're mainstreaming trenderism amongst an age group that is largely being groomed into it. It's morally reprehensible.
The creator of the series was involved right? I no longer have Netflix but I heard overall it was good

Stranger things is a great example of that. Umbrella academy I heard too

There's no way this never-male will be able to pull off modern Koby and what he's become.
Of course, there's no way this poo burning bbq will last that long, but Dr HooHoo is still going on so whatever.
I'm sure that if they actually did that, we'd be hearing about tranny cancellation. As if that wasn't simply part of their nature.
