I’m so old I remember when the national IQ data was available on wikipedia!
Hi, giant-brained homo sapien of european descent here, I have no idea what you're trying to communicate with the title of this post.
I get the "Voice" part (the retarded referendum that's being shoved down Australians' throats to let aboriginals basically run everything, that will probably pass despite people not wanting it, because Democracy.)
Other than that, I'm as lost as you. Not sure why "we're the voice," or the emphasis on "Try."
No, the Aborigines are the "voice" - but their IQ levels mean any form understanding is an effort at best. It's an Aussie reference that other Australians get
John Farnham allowed the use of his song "You're the Voice" for YES vote for the Australian Voice Referendum. The subject title is the chorus line from that song.
Okay, it's coming together. Tagging u/BidenIsAGroomer too.
And holy shit is it retarded.
I should have added that as a second link - but anyone else reading this thread now - please follow Kienan's link as that will make it a lot easier to understand. Sorry my fellow high IQ gaters for making it cryptic.
I feel like I’m on my 2nd pint of Victoria Brew after reading this title.
I thought it was a The Saviour/Messiah Post at first.
I believe the OP's title is a line from a song by John Farnham.
Oh fuck, it's beginning to make sense, and it's even stupider than I could have imagined. Australia needs an exorcism or something.
If by 'exorcism' you mean 'excision of the political class' then you're right on.
Everyone needs one of those!
The song in reference to
(It's a decent 80s tune but of course perfect for world peace and activist fodder)
Indeed. Farnham allowed the YES campaign to make it their theme song
Don't you see? Voting 'yes' in the referendum will eliminate this disparity! Everything will be solved! ✊🏿
