The problem with your idea is that the guy's left having sex won't be the morally upright and disciplined good men. It'll be the low IQ animals who can't think beyond their next meal who are now filling the holes left behind.
So now the gene pool will be even further diluted and polluted by the absolute worst traits of men.
That's why you can't passively punish women. Because there will always be enough men to subsidize their life and prevent them from going without. Whether its for sex, money, or support.
