The fatal accidents uptick is more likely due to post-Floyd cops having to choose whether they want to potentially cause weeks of nationwide riots any time they see a black person driving recklessly.

There are libertarians on here who get very upset if you try to explain why you need constant harsh enforcement of traffic laws.
