They already have an advantage, they're dogs. Dogs come 2nd on who I have empathy the most for just behind children.
Which is ironic since I'd also trust a lot of dogs to look after children more than a lot of human adults...
Yeah, don't mess with children or dogs. Especially if you're already critically lacking goodwill, like the UK police. Perhaps these dogs were shit, I don't know, but I'm also not going to have sympathy for the police. But, also, the people holding vigils and generally making me cringe are pretty fucking pathetic, too.
Basically, fuck these cops for shooting dogs; fuck the dogs for being violent; fuck the bum for being a bum and raising violent dogs; and fuck the libs for being pathetic little cucks. It sounds like there are no good guys in this particular story.
Not all dogs are equal, and if your dogs are attacking people or livestock, they need to go. Since these dogs were shot after they attacked a woman and her dog, the police did the right thing by killing them.
I can't really blame the dogs that much as unlike how the left try to claim with certain demographics, the dogs REALLY ARE a product of their environment. You can get a dog that was designed to hunt lions and it can be the sweetest babysitter while you can have some tiny little thing be the most aggressive thing ever to defend it's owner.
Given how mistreated some homeless can be or how violent hobos can be, they are a product of that environment.
But this story not long after the autistic girl being dragged for an off the cuff statement WITHIN HER OWN HOME, UK police are making a strong argument for their dissolution.
Well, yes and no. A lot of kids have been killed by sweetie pit bulls that pick a random day to chimp out.
Though let's be honest, more have been killed by humans chimping out for no reason.
There are a few breeds we should just stop breeding like Pugs and maybe pitbulls, but the fault is mostly on us as we bred them that way.
Oh yeah of course the blame still falls back on people. The dog fighters for breeding them and suburban owners for not recognizing the power of genetics.
Oh, yeah, if I had to choose, I'm siding with the canines over the UK police. But seems like there's plenty of blame to go around, but, yeah, dissolve the UK police.

The police should have handled it in a different way but plenty of people only care about their own selfish feelings. That's why they will complain about the police here but happily cheer them on on when some is attacked by the police for defending themselves against one their attack animals.
Just trying to make some noise for that disaster when they kidnapped an autistic kid.
