Yeah, the decision to start describing tranny interventions as “lifesaving” was gallingly cynical even by progressive standards. Like, but this new age bullshit or the kids will literally die immediately and it will be YOUR fault! And they accuse us of “using” children to get our way.

Luckily, so far I don’t think the idea that this shit is “lifesaving” has gained wide acceptance among the general population. The idea that drugs are mere puberty “blockers” rather than puberty wreckers, detainers, etc. however HAS gained wider acceptance, just through strategic use of terminology, so the trick does work and there’s more effort required. The UK could be a leader on this by banning them for minors, which is weird to say given that the UK is at the back of the pack on speech issues.
