Ayman Mhanna, executive director at the non-profit civic Samir Kassir Foundation, told Reuters that Mortada's move came amid "a wave of bigotry".
"This is part of a broader campaign that is bringing together Hezbollah, the Christian far right, and other top religious leaders in a focused campaign against LGBT people," Mhanna said.
Wow, now the far right and Hezbollah are coming together?
Muslims do something that is 100% inline with their ideology but it is somehow a ploy by the infamous "far-right".
There's homosexuality in this film? Like do two of the barbies or Kens get together or does the amount of shirtless Kens scare them too much like that old Squidward meme?

I think it is related to the trans barbie
Every time I consider giving it a look just to see why Ken is such a meme, I get reminded of this and go "Nope."
Ah that makes sense, though they should've labelled it 'banned for promoting mental illness' so we wouldn't get confused.
No it's homosexual too
