That's the post, really. Basically everyone is saying it's really good and has no microtransactions, etc. Is it worth a buy, or would I be supporting a woke project?

Given the sales and critical success, this gives Lefties even more inlets to be even more woke.
They'll even use this success to say, "See, people support the trans movement" and add even more of that to the next series of games, just like you mentioned.
And this is the worst kind of woke -- it's a lot of woke stuff sandwiched into between what some people call "based" gameplay or whatnot.
This means you're going to have a lot of normies and Conservatards defending the game because "it lets you kill the gay guys at least!", ignoring the fact that the game is loaded to the gills with the globohomo stuff.
It's like swatting away a single fly and calling it a success while sitting in a pile of feces, surrounded by flies.
