Pretty much, though instead of scaring away dwarven talent, he scared away Disney from hiring other dwarves.

He caused a ruckus about the live action Snow White, so Disney changed their plans from hiring seven dwarves to hiring the Multicultural Bandits of Peace and Tolerance.
