I hate this shit. Murder is murder. If you defend yourself from active abuse, that's one thing. But legally encouraging people sneak up and kill your husband in cold blood is evil. What a sick joke.
It does bring up some interesting questions, though. Like, are women and men different? What is a woman, UK? If "transwomen are women" and "transmen are men," if a man pretending to be a woman kills a woman pretending to be a man, is that stunning and brave, or is it misogyny, or is transphobia? Same for if a lesbian or gay man kill their spouse.
Leads to all sorts of interesting hypotheticals, but I'm assuming with near certainty this will just work out as 'fuck you, go die, men.'
The problem with Leftist word games becoming common place over the years is we can't have words mean things anymore. Something can't be bad except in specific rare circumstances, it has to always be bad.
So a defensive kill can't be murder that's completely justified and excused, because murder is bad. So now they won't call it murder and instead make a whole new word and change how its treated entirely.
The state wants the victim to self support because it is cheaper for the state. Since you can't tell that class of people to be responsible for themselves, as it is political suicide and they are to be infantilized at every turn, the next best thing is to mass house them as prisoners. I imagine 10 women to a cellblock is cheaper than putting each of them up in a halfway home with a food benefits card.
So the choices are put up with it, or do a murder. Minimizing the sentence for such is how they can make it feasible.
