I no longer have any understanding of people. I really never understood the desire for even heterosexual romance in such games. Tons of people fantasize about banging a bear? Unfortunately it's time for the fire and brimstone.
This is just a faggy blogger putting a spin on a sales bump for a video game that I assume most of us didn’t even really know existed until the bear-sex press cycle.
I knew it existed, but thought it came out a couple years ago. Guess that was just the early access, but a 3 year early access timeframe is concerning.
Call me old fashioned. But a 3 year early access is well into release territory, even if their content isn't fully done. They are still taking in the full price for a game and has been for the last couple of years.
I understand the sentiment and agree largely, but Larian really is an exception. They were very upfront about what early access means to them, which is mainly bug finding and tuning and never released any content beyond the first Act.
BG3 EA dropped during covid and loads of people bought in with out knowing this.
I’ve been keeping an eye on it. This week was a press tour with people (press leeches and YouTubers alike) to get a glimpse of Act 2 and the monk class. These are why people are jumping on and not this gay ass bear ass.

Meh, they have been rather upfront with it, people knew what they were getting into.
Original Sin II was similar.
Larian had a few mishaps as far as Woke stuff is concerned, but they did mostly deliver as gamedevs

They did the same exact thing for DOSII.
