No he didn't. What he did was put in explicit Midjourney prompts. He is absolutely full of shit.

Right click on any picture and hit INSPECT and you will see the EXACT prompts he used from the image names.

I fucking hate Buzzfeed. He didn't even bother to change the image names that he saved.

For instance, the very first picture was generated with the prompt "Balding older man with several missing teeth, a thick mustache and beard, and unkempt wisps of hair, wearing a dirty T-shirt" in Midjourney.

He didn't ask an AI anything except to make explicit images using words he conjured up from his own stupid fucking view of each states residents.

FUCK you Buzzfeed, and FUCK you Dave Stopera.

First one I tried, Utah:

"A young man in the middle of a group of five children and one young woman, all of them blonde and none of them smiling"

Texas:

"A man with a very large belly, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, tie, shirt, and overalls, holds a huge cheeseburger and a gun"

Yeah, those sound a little different from "what do Europeans think."

I know Buzzfeed is bullshit, but I share your anger. This is really fucking obnoxious.
