They're still trash. Having a different kind of trash come in beside them doesn't change them from garbage to gold.
The prequels are a perfectly edible meal that wasn't cooked very well. The salad is soggy, the steak is burnt around the edges a little, they only have ketchup for sauce tonight and the rolls are hard. But the service was at least really good and the restaurant clearly cares about its customers.
The Sequels just had Gordon Ramsey gorge himself on Taco Bell for a week and then shit directly into your mouth while calling you a worthless pig who deserves it.
