Now you guys know why I'm considering South America, this is just the beginning, the UK is done, businesses can't operate unless they have the right politics and now they're targeting individuals in earnest which is part of why they're digitising everything.
You don't want to be involved in the politics of a dictatorship if you can help it and South America is nice and far away from all of that. Don't get me wrong, it seems to vary enormously the state of countries in South America, but it's not all fucked, like with most things you only see in the news the absolute worse shit that kicks off like in Brazil etc.
My favourite tactic when looking for places to hang out or live is looking at areas that haven't been in the news and they do exist.
I'll be doing my research, definitely not going to Brazil if that's where you're thinking or any country like that, I won't reveal where exactly for doxxing reasons but there are smaller countries that are far more stable among other things, those are the places that don't get on the news. As long as I learn my Spanish properly and don't act like a retard leftist on a holiday I'll be fine. Regardless, everything I see from the UK is making me nope harder and harder.
I think as well in the long run I'm also going to consider their banking system as a way of ironically shielding myself from a potential collapse of the banking systems and any theft the UK government might be planning. Yes, these areas might be poor, but I'd rather be in a poor country that's stable than a technically 'rich' country that's going off tons of debt and ready to collapse into chaos.
Dude, sorry to break it to ya, but South America is not the place you wanna go to if you want to escape left wing authoritarian rule.
Since the anticommunist CIA backed dictatorships fell in the 80s and early 90s the left has taken over.
Despite a brief moment in the late 2010's where you had a bunch of right leaning presidents take to power around the same time (Macri, Piñera, Bolsonaro, Áñez) the left is back with a vengeance.
Just do some research, and you'll see that pretty much all of South America is ruled by authoritarian commies that have rigged supreme courts and effectively dismantled opposition.
I hope I'm badly wrong and I hope come 2024 we'll all get what we're hoping for and there's a massive pushback in the west against all of this shit but I just don't see it. There are some pretty disturbing moves being made and honestly even a post-communist South American country is probably going to be more freer in terms of day to day living standards than the inevitable police state shitholes western countries are becoming. The reason I think this is because I simply don't even see the kind of resistance we should be seeing.
Again, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm simply not seeing the type of signs we should be. The kind of boycotting of target and activision etc. is a good start, but there needs to be more real competition and opposition cropping up in earnest. Regardless, I do know I have time, 2024 is going to be a decision making moment for me and we'll see what happens.
I don’t think anyone is telling you you’re wrong to be afraid about where the west is going. I think everyone is telling you you’re wrong about South America being the escape hatch. It’s really weird that all your responses are defending point one, when point two is the area of dispute.
I know, it is weird lol but that's how fucked I think things are going to get, the thing is, it's not just the political fallout that I'm expecting, it's the financial one as well. They are going to try and steal everything from us.
Look I thought like you once and I tried change through the political system, it didn't work and the Conservatives stabbed us in the back. I'm not sticking around waiting for a communist dictatorship to pop up, I wouldn't even be surprised to see the 'Conservatives' leading the charge, they're all with the WEF.
I don't want a bastion of liberal democracy I want a country that isn't going to get completely fucked by the WEF and I want to be able to feed myself.

Why South America instead of Eastern Europe?
I guess a lot depends on where you end up but Brazil and Argentina are shitholes.

this is incorrect
Come back after 2024 and tell me again if you feel the same.
I'm not sure I'd trust Lulu, he's quite literally a dictator and I seriously doubt he'll ever give up power again.
I'd recommend Central America over South America. Money goes a long way in Central America, although the threat of kidnapping is pretty high.

France and Germany are currently moving to abolish veto rights in the EU. This means total dominance for the France and Germany and eastern Europe must bow: https://nitter.cz/21WIRE/status/1674020125945602050#m

If you wanna go hide from shit and have money Belize isn't bad. Hence McAfee making an appearance there.
Ah yes, when trapped in a rain storm, just stand under a tree. Once one tree soaks through, just run to another one. lol.

What I'm getting at is that all the trees soak through at the same time. What bastion of liberal democracy is there going to be in south america?
I don't want a bastion of liberal democracy I want a country that isn't going to get completely fucked by the WEF and I want to be able to feed myself.
