"You're being defensive" is almost never used with good intentions. Defending yourself is normal and good, and most people recognize that.
The only people who complain about it are opportunists and backstabbers who don't want to catch heat in return for launching unprovoked verbal attacks on others.
it's not that they don't want to play it. it's much more insidious than that.
they don't want you to be able to play it. but that's still not enough because it's all just a hateful supremacy movement masquerading as compassion. this is a smokescreen so that creators start conceding ground.
that ground is conceded, they will move to the next target. games that are merely neutral will be targeted, not for lack of representation, but for lack of pushing this extreme, cult ideology. look at what they're doing with all those movie awards. if <50% of the top billing cast AND crew is either minority or PLGBT, then they will not be eligible for awards. 65% of the population is white, non-hispanic, non-jewish, and straight. yet white non-hispanic, non-jewish, straight women are 30% or less of female roles nowadays in movies, and white non-hispanic, non-male, straight men are not even 10%. blacks and jews are MASSIVELY overrepresented in media.
so it's not enough to be neutral or provide proportional representation. they've already started demanding massive discrimination against Whites/Asians and straight males, and they've demonstrated open hostility, racism, and sexism. they're just a hate movement.
look at Oceangate... dude is dead and killed 4 other people for the same fucking reason. he hated White males, refused to hire competent people just because they were White males.
